40 Hours Devotion

Thursday, May 30 – Sunday, June 2

Leading up to the feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday, June 2, we will have 40 Hours of Eucharistic Adoration, concluding with the Corpus Christi Procession. Every parish in the diocese is participating in the 40 Hours Devotion sometime this year as part of our preparation for the Diocesan Golden Jubilee in 2024. We invite you to come and spend some time with Our Lord, present in the Holy Eucharist!

To ensure that the Eucharist is never left alone during periods of silent Adoration, we need 2 people to sign up for each 30-minute time slot. Once a time slot is full, it will no longer be available. However, everyone is welcome to come anytime during Adoration, for any amount of time, even if the slot is “filled”. See the full schedule below.

Participants will gather beginning at 11:30am at Mount Vernon High School. The procession will begin at noon and will arrive at church by 1:45pm before the Spanish Mass. (Participants who attend another Mass don’t have to attend 2pm Mass.)
