Parents of Teens Dinner & Discussion

Friday, September 13 at 6:30pm

As the teens participate in Friday Night
Lights, join us monthly for a dinner and
discussion. For this first event, we will be
talking about the rewards and challenges
of parenting teens, as well as discussing
topics for future months.

Shepherd’s Showcase

Rehearsals Thursdays from 5 – 6pm

Join us for a 6-week session exploring the Saints. Children will go over basic theater skills while preparing short Saint skits to perform on Saturday, October 26 after the 5pm Mass. There are both speaking and non-speaking roles and we have a lot of parts so invite a sibling, friend, or neighbor to join!

We ask that you be willing to commit to the fall schedule (Thursdays, 5 – 6pm, with a few extra rehearsals the week of the performance) if you would like your child to be in the performance. If you know there will be a conflict with a practice date, let us know in advance and we can accommodate. If you know you will miss more than two practices starting September 27, please wait for the next performance. Adult volunteers are welcome to assist with
practices, costumes and at the performance.

Family-Friendly Adoration

Wednesday, October 2 at 5:30pm in the chapel, followed by dinner at 6pm in Creedon Hall

Are you new to Adoration? Do you have little kids you want to introduce to Jesus in the Eucharist? Are you trying to deepen your own prayer life? Are you looking for ways to pray together as a family? Join us for a holy-half hour of Eucharistic Adoration! Father Tom will explain the basics of Adoration, lead us in prayer, and share the beautiful gift of Adoration with us. All are welcome, young and old!
