Christ House

Teams of parishioners serve a meal to homeless individuals and families at Christ House (Old Town, Alexandria). Duties include purchasing, cooking, delivery, and/or serving of an entrée and desert for 50-75 adults and children. Good Shepherd has teams on the:

Every 1st Thursday and 1st Saturday (odd-numbered months) through the Youth Ministry program.

We also serve on the 1st Friday of all odd-numbered months and the 1st Saturday of even-numbered months. Volunteers participate on a rotating basis, usually once every two months for 2-3 hours.
