Facilities Manager

Good Shepherd is looking for a Facilities Manager to maintain and ensure the parish facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming.

This full-time position requires:

  • Skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, grounds, ground maintenance, painting, and general repairs
  • Regular inspections to identify potential problems and respond as needed.
  • Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions including sidewalk snow removal.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, bend, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to prioritize, collaborate, communicate with internal team and vendors.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Related experience preferred

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 9 – 5pm
  • Night and weekend hours may be necessary based on parish needs or emergency situations.
