Diocesan Week of Service
Sunday, November 9 – 16
Join us for the first Diocesan Week of Service, a time dedicated to putting Love in Action through Service in Community. Our activities will include:
- Sock Drive and collection for VIC-HOP breakfast bags.
- Assemble breakfast bags on Sunday, November 16
- Donation for A Best Choice Ultrasound
- Card writing for homebound parishioners and breakfast bag recipients during Faith Formation classes
Sock Drive and VIC-HOP Collection
Starting Sunday, October 26
We are providing dinner, volunteers, and breakfast bags every Saturday from December – March for Venture in Community’s Hypothermia Outreach Program (VIC-HOP), a temporary shelter operated during winter.
To provide for the 425 breakfast bags we are collecting:
- New, warm socks
- Gallon Zip Lock Bags
- Breakfast Bars: such as Nutri Grain
- Fruit: individual serving size containers
- Crackers: Lances or the small packages of Ritz
- Protein: Tuna and crackers packages, pop lids containers or packets of tuna, salmon, sardines, or Spam.
- Beverages: single size Ensure, Boost, or real fruit juice

Pick up a baby bottle on Sunday, November 9 and bring it back November 16
ABC Women’s Health & Ultrasound Center provides both free and low cost medical, educational, and support services to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy or sexual health concern. Return your bottle with cash, check, or scan the QR code on the bottle to donate directly to ABC.
