2nd YEAR STUDENTS
The Pentecost Project Proposal is due in class on December 6 and 10. Students received their assignment and proposal form in October; it is also available HERE.

Guide to Teen Volunteer Opportunities
The Guide is available on the website in English and Spanish. There is also a hard copy available in the RE Hallway that students/parents can read on site at Good Shepherd.
Sunday, December 13 and Thursday, December 17
All students will gather in the Hall during their class session for a Kick-Off to the Jubilee Year of Mercy. At this Kick-Off we will talk about the meaning of the Year of Mercy, and how we can each SHOW and KNOW mercy. Finally, students will be sent off with a “3-Foot Challenge”.
Life Is Very Good
January 21 and 22
Life Is Very Good is an evening of prayer (7:30 – 10pm) and morning rally (9am – 12pm) held at George Mason University prior to the March for Life. This is a dynamic and inspiring event, with music by the Josh Blakesley Band and speakers Mark Hart and Jackie Francois (both presenters in our Encounter and Chosen Confirmation programs). Wrap-It-Up
Wrap presents to help kids in need! People bring their gifts to Good Shepherd for teens to wrap in exchange for a donation to Alice’s Kids, a local non-profit that provides short-term financial assistance to children and teens.
