Works of Mercy Service Project
The Works of Mercy Project assignment (click HERE) and Proposal Form (click HERE) were given to students in class in January and should be in their white student binder. A sample is also posted on the MSHS bulletin board.
2ND YEAR STUDENTS
Confirmation Requirements Due in April and May:
April 2: Middle School Confirmation Retreat
11am – 6pm at Good Shepherd. $20 due at check-in on the day of the retreat. Lunch and snacks included.
May 1 (Sunday classes) & May 5 (Thursday classes):
Pentecost Project Posters due in class.
May 21: High School Confirmation Retreat
11am – 6pm at Good Shepherd. $20 due at check-in on the day of the retreat. Lunch and snacks included.

Confirmation Q&A for Parents
February 21 and 25 during class sessions
Parents are invited to a Q&A Session where Rosie will answer questions about Confirmation requirements and the calendar of events, as well as the sacrament of Confirmation itself.
VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHTS
Valentine Dinner and Dance -- Friday, February 5 and/or Saturday, February 6
Teen Volunteers are needed on Friday at 6pm and on Saturday at 10am to decorate the Hall. Proceeds from this event benefit UCM's Progreso Center for Literacy and Citizenship.
Year of Mercy Kick-Off for Families -- Rescheduled to Saturday, February 27
Teen Volunteers are needed from 5 - 8pm (pizza dinner provided) to lead stations that teach children about the Works of Mercy. See the flyer HERE for details and sign up electronically HERE. Contact: Stacy or Christina, RE@gs-cc.org

- First Reconciliation Retreat, 9am - 12pm at Good Shepherd
- This Retreat is required in order to receive First Communion in May 2016.
2ND YEAR STUDENTS

- This retreat will be led by NET Ministries, a group of dynamic young adults who travel around the country giving youth retreats (see photo above). We need parish families to host 2 (or more) of the NET retreat team members in their homes for one or two nights. If you are interested in this great opportunity, please contact Rosie. - Candidates will stop at the table in the Commons before class to submit:
- Confirmation Name Form (completed by Candidate)
- Confirmation Sponsor Interview (completed by Candidate)
- Confirmation Sponsor Affidavit (completed by Sponsor)
