Ideas to bring Advent at Home -Begins November 29
Advent starts this Sunday! We have great ideas posted to our website on how you can prepare your children for the coming of our Savior. You can link to it here!
Don't forget to wear purple this weekend to celebrate the kick-off of Advent! Plus, bring your Advent Wreath to Mass for a blessing.
Journey to the Manger - Saturday, December 5, 6:00-8:30
Get the family in the holiday spirit by joining us for this new FREEfamily event! You will arrive at the gates of Bethlehem the night of Jesus’ birth. Visit the various shops and enjoy games, crafts, food, and fun! Interact with characters from the Bible story as you walk around the town.
All ages are welcomed, and kids are encouraged to come in costume. End the evening watching the story of Jesus’ birth unfold right in front of you as we all Journey to the Manger.

Critical Need for Volunteers
We are in critical need of substitutes and hall monitors at all sessions. Without substitutes, we cannot meet our Safe Environment requirements and may need to cancel classes. Paperwork packets are available at the front office (required by diocese). VIRTUS session being held at Good Shepherd on Saturday January 9 from 9-1 (required by diocese).

Year of Mercy - December 8, 2015 - November 20, 2016
Pope Francis has declared a Year of Mercy. Join us January 23 at 6:00pm for a family fun event to kick off the year of mercy, Do Justly, Walk Humbly, Love Mercifully, here at Good Shepherd. It includes food, fun, games, and takeaways to incorporate the Works of Mercy into your family life.
Watch the website and bulletin boards for ways to show mercy and receive mercy throughout the year!
They will meet each Wednesday in December before Christmas to prepare for the Christmas Eve Children’s Mass.
- Rehearsal time is Wednesday, 5:00-5:45 pm. Just show up!
