"May we never take for granted, or ever fail to reverence, the Most Holy Eucharist." (Father Tom)
First Eucharist for Children First Eucharist is generally celebrated in the Easter season for children in 2nd grade and higher. Children must be enrolled in Faith Formation for two-years as a way of understanding the Eucharist as the Sacrament of gift. In our diocese, preparation and celebration of Reconciliation is required prior to the reception of First Eucharist. Parents are given take-home materials to help their children train for these great liturgical moments. Other events include meditations, bread making, and opportunities for shared prayer. Please check out our Faith Formation Program (K-6) or contact Joan Sheppard.
First Eucharist for Adults Any adults interested in receiving their First Eucharist should click here for detailed information on that process.
