St. Joseph, Guardian of the Body of Christ

Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Washington D.C.

Bishop Michael Burbidge, Bishop of Arlington, invites you to join him to mark this “Year of St. Joseph” at the diocesan Marian pilgrimage to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, October 30.

This beautiful family event will include the Rosary, Adoration, Confession, and Mass. It is free and our parish will be participating as a group. If you are interested in going with fellow parishioners, contact Deacon Mike O’Neil.

Event Schedule

9am: Opening Music

9:30am: Arrival and Reception of Pilgrims

9:35am: Welcome Remarks, Rosary – led by Bishop Burbidge

10am: Family “Seek & Find” activity, Confessions begin

10:30am: Holy Hour including Spiritual Reflection – led by Fr. Jack Riley 

11:30am: Young Adult Talk – led by Fr. Joseph Rampino        

Noon: Lunch (bring your own)

1pm: Eucharistic Reflection by Fr. Stephen Vaccaro

1:30pm: Mass (Bishop Burbidge main celebrant and homilist) 

2:30pm: Blessing of Articles
