Beginning the Journey to Confirmation: A Mass and Orientation for 1st Year Students and Parents.
Saturday, September 10
We will gather as a community to worship together and to begin to explore the meaning of the Sacrament of Confirmation. At least one parent must attend with their 1st Year student.
SECOND YEAR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES
Parents: We know that it can be challenging to have meaningful conversations about faith, especially in our fast-paced culture full of responsibilities, activities, and distractions. To help you accompany your teen on this important journey to Confirmation, we invite you to the following:

Saturday, September 10
We will gather as a community to worship together and to begin to explore the meaning of the Sacrament of Confirmation. At least one parent must attend with their 1st Year student.
- English: Mass at 5:00pm, followed by Orientation with Father Ramón and Rosie Driscoll, MSHS Coordinator
- Spanish: Mass at 6:30pm, followed by Orientation with Father Luis and Rosie Driscoll, MSHS Coordinator

Parents: We know that it can be challenging to have meaningful conversations about faith, especially in our fast-paced culture full of responsibilities, activities, and distractions. To help you accompany your teen on this important journey to Confirmation, we invite you to the following:
- Before classes start: Watch the Chosen Invitation to Parents HERE (5 min) and the Chosen Parent's Session HERE (20 minutes).
- On the first day of class: Pick up your Chosen Parent Guide in the Commons. The Parent Guide is designed to help you share in your teen's faith journey by providing the topics covered in class each week, suggested conversation starters , and much more.
- Saturday, November 12: Join us for the Confirmation Parent Meeting. Here you will receive Good Shepherd's Confirmation Packet and we will review all requirements. 4-5pm (English) and 5:30 - 6:30pm (Spanish)
