Purpose: |
The
Committee works with the parish leadership and community to
implement an internal and external communication system that
promotes Good Shepherd’s Vision and Mission.

Current Activities: |

Provide guidance on publicizing major upcoming events, including
the “Charting Our Future Conversations,” the 2007 International
Festival, and the Ministry Fair

Expand Web site content on parish activities; upgrade site to
enable user interaction

Provide guidance on improving Bulletin as communication tool
-
Coordinate Summer 2007 Newsletter writing and production

Since its establishment in 2005, the
Committed has:

Published first quarterly The Shepherd’s Watch Newsletter

Coordinated publicity in the local press for various parish and
community events

Expanded Web site content and improved ease of use
-
Conducted and communicated results of Spring 2005 Parishioner
Survey

Developed external relations procedures for Good Shepherd
-
Developed the Parish Census form
-
Partnered with Facilities Committee to improve the parish’s
audio and video capabilities
