(MSFF) Volunteer Opportunities
Good Shepherd Catholic Church
It is crucial that we surround our young people with a supportive, vibrant faith-filled community, rooted in their home, which enables them to enthusiastically respond to God's action. A thriving faith community that prays, learns and serves together; that walks the journey of faith together as a family will, hopefully, help young people experience the constant presence and action of God in their lives.
Parent involvement is a key aspect of the MSFF program. The purpose of MSFF is to assist you (the parent) as the primary formers of your teen's faith. In doing so, we anticipate your involvement as a volunteer within our program in whatever capacity you can give – time and talent. Volunteer needs are various and necessary to support the current teaching team and help distribute the level of effort for the MSFF program that has been carried by a team that is small in number, however passionate in heart to give of their time and talents.
We look forward to collaborating with you, forming youth in their faith and preparing for Confirmation – all part of the lifelong process of growing in grace and wisdom.
Please review the volunteer opportunities listed below and tell us where your time and talents are best suited to Inspire, Develop and Strengthen our MSFF Program. We seek both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking individuals, (also can be bilingual) in preparing Good Shepherd's diverse group of God's children.
A detailed list of time commitments for each opportunity specified will be discussed at our Parent Meetings, however, if you feel compassionate about becoming involved beforehand, feel free to contact Claudia DiRosario, dirosario@gs-cc.org
