Good Shepherd Mothers Support Group

For over twenty years, the Mothers' Support Group has existed to provide a casual network of support for mothers in the parish and Mount Vernon community. It enables us to grow spiritually, intellectually and socially. We meet on Wednesdays from 9:30-11:00 am, September through May, in the Parlor Lounge at Good Shepherd, with the following schedule:

	9:30-9:45	Social time; drop children off in the Nursery
	9:45-10:00	Business
	10:00-11:00	Presentation
	11:00-11:15	Pick children up from the Nursery

The atmosphere of the Parlor Lounge is casual, with infants and young children ("pre-walkers") in the room. The church nursery is open during our meetings and babysitting is provided at $2.00 for children ages 1 and 2 and $3.00 for children 3 and up. The nursery is very important to our group. Without it we would not be able to function as smoothly as we do.

Our group has grown in the last few years, and this has added tremendously to the dynamics and energy of the group. We look forward to the weekly meetings to sit back, relax, and chat with other moms!

We enjoy our social and charitable events and have developed friendships that will last a lifetime. We encourage all interested moms to attend our meetings and get involved!
